Today is the day of salvation.
Not tomorrow. Not when life calms down. Today. The door is open and the Father is running toward you.
If thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised Him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. — Romans 10:9
Pray this out loud, slowly. Mean every word.
Father, I come to You just as I am.
I confess that I have sinned and fallen short of Your glory.
I believe that Jesus Christ is Your Son,
that He died on the cross for my sins,
and that You raised Him from the dead.
Today, I receive Jesus as my Lord and Saviour.
I surrender my life into Your hands.
Write my name in the Book of Life.
From this day forward I belong to You.
In Jesus' mighty name — Amen.
